It is easy to learn
One of the common myths is that Chinese is a difficult language to learn. That is because it has a different writing system. However, that’s not true. Unlike other languages, Mandarin Chinese does not use phonetic writing but semi-phonetic ideograms and pictograms. There are no tenses, no genders, and no cases in Mandarin. It also has very simple grammar. Other Asian languages like Korean and Japanese have complex honorific grammar, but not Mandarin. It is, therefore, one of the easiest languages to learn.
