Tutoring Experience and Qualifications

I am fully qualified teacher with 4 years teaching experience in both the Private and State sector. I have a proven track record of success, averaging an A at A level and a 9 at GCSE in both French and Spanish. Additionally I have tutored for over ten years, and have in-depth knowledge of multiple exam board curriculums.

I have an Oxford degree in French and Spanish, so I can tutor university students but I also very much enjoy working with younger students and introducing them to the delights of language learning.

Five years in the strategic communications industry helps me give my teaching a special creative twist, and think laterally about supporting each student’s specific needs.

Tutoring Vision

A major part of my approach is to show students how much they already know, and how with a few small tweaks they can see major grade inflation. Engagement and enjoyment are key metrics for embedded learning, and are at the forefront of my planning for teaching and tutoring.
