Tutoring Experience and Qualifications
Hailing from Santander in Northern Spain, Lorena has achieved bi-lingual status with a high level of English and has much experience teaching and mentoring academic and extra curricular activities both in Spain and England.
Lorena has lived in the UK for over 7 years and, on top her experience in Spain, has worked in schools and tuition centres in Chesterfield and London. She holds various qualifications for teaching including IH Certification for Spanish Teachers, IH Spanish Grammar and IH Spanish for Children. She applies her skills in the classroom and has recently developed online programmes. She has also gained diplomas for learning strategies and child psychology expertise including Diseno de Actividades en el Aula de ELE from Calamo & Cran. She champions the holistic approach, often running summer camps focused on sports and outdoor activities.
Tutoring Vision
Lorena understands how difficult it can be to master a second language. She often relates her personal journey from student to teacher as an inspiration to many learners and proof that with the right teacher, tools and time, speaking a foreign language is far from impossible.
