Tutoring Experience and Qualifications
Bonjour!
I am native French and I have been living in London for the past sixteen years with my British husband and four children. The youngest were educated in London from the age of 5 and I was, therefore, very concerned that they might lose their French. This is why I started teaching French, at first to the youngest, who are twins, and subsequently to their friends, and finally I gave lessons at their school for four years. At the same time, I created my French Club “Les Petits Amis”, where I taught French to children of different ages.
I have been tutoring for fourteen years; children from the age of 5 but also adults, preparing them for their exams (GCSEs, A Level’s oral and DELF certificate A1, A2, B1 and B2) or sometimes related to their work, or just for practising and enjoying the language. I am familiar with the different boards, having worked with children from more than twelve different schools, private as well as state schools.
Tutoring Vision
Since the arrival of the Covid pandemic I am now tutoring exclusively online. Despite initial reservations, this format works really well. Not only can we produce highly engaging content and interact in many ways, it’s also very effective and efficient with little or no time lost: classes definitely benefit as there is no driving or waiting in the car…! All you need is a Skype account and we can begin promptly at the time of your lesson.
